Plateau Lounge Chair by Erik Magnussen

Erik Magnussen has designed this Plateau lounge chair for Engelbrechts. The plateau lounge chair is ideal for the contemporary living room, bedroom, foyer, library or lounge. The 1.2m tall chair’s shell is made of 15 mm cold foam on hard MDI foam, resting on a highly polished aluminum base with automatic return or free turn swivel. The chair’s challenging design led to new production processes that minimize sewing, which is why the chair is covered in only two pieces of textile or leather.
