The Coat Chair by Fredrik Färg

This Coat Chair comes from swedish designer Fredrik Färg for Materia. RE:cover Chairs is also one of the great seating product designed by Fredrik Färg . The designer get the inspiration from the world of menswear utilizing a collar-like back, which can be flipped up or down depending on the users preference, in addition to cuff-link fasteners which bind the felt upper to the veneer base. This coat chair is bound together with large die-cast chrome zinc cufflinks.

The Coat chair has its own strong personality while at the same time exuding innovation, creativity and elegance. Inspired by gentlemen’s fashion, the back of the armchair is shaped like a collar, which can be folded to encompass the body and provide shielding. The stand is in moulded veneer, with a seat and back in moulded polyester felt.
